Cyclamen coum

Description

These hardy relatives of the florist's cyclamen produce charming 6-inch flowers in a spectrum of colors-from white to carmine red- that carpet the ground in winter to early spring, depending on your climate. The handsome, rounded leaves are marbled in shades of silver and make a lustrous groundcover through the winter and spring (they then go dormant in the heat of summer).
