Description

Oddly, we have had difficulty propagating this species until this year, when we had 100% germination (compared to 3% the previous 7 years). This is a beautiful species, sometimes misidentified as E. planum, but they are miles apart. Very deeply cut gray green leaves with central marbling and mid to late summer flowers of spiny blue on metallic blue stems. Full sun, sharp drainage.
