Leafless, early spring stems of rich pink flowers emerge from the damp soil to 2 ft., to be replaced later by enormous, umbrella-like leaves that color richly in autumn if grown in full sun. An outstanding American native; I have observed this species growing in standing water in the Siskiyou Mts. of S. Oregon, while content growing in the chilly climates of S. Vermont in the garden of North Hill.
Ships in a 4 inch container. Approx. 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 3 7/8" (25.8 cu. In. soil volume).
