Potentilla megalantha 'Megabloom'

If you have only experienced potentilla through the snapshots in the various garden periodicals, you may be a bit surprised when you come upon one in person. The blooms can be downright miniscule. This selection, then, is particularly garden-worthy. Just as the name implies, the sulfur-yellow blooms are large enough to produce a show. They are held upright about cushions of soft, gray-green, strawberry-like leaves, for a bright display all summer.
