Fuchsia Plants

Fuchsia Plants

Other than in the mild climate of the coastal Pacific, in the U.S. we generally think of Fuchsia plants as tender perennials or houseplants, but in their native South and Central America Fuchsias can be grown as trees and shrubs. The name Fuchsia is derived from the name of Leonard Fuchs, a German botanist. Hummingbirds are attracted to the flowers.
