Description

One of the finest hardy vines for shaded sites, this elegant yet durable hydrangea produces a dense covering of glossy green foliage and, in midsummer, large 10 inch heads of lacy white flowers. The peeling, cinnamon-toned bark provides great interest in the off season. We collected these excellent plants from the northern tier of their range in Hokkaido, Japan.
