Description
From one of two Hydrangea species native to North America, and certainly the most distinctive of all Hydrangea species worldwide, this selection by Eddy Aldridge of the so-called Oak-Leaf Hydrangea presents enormous heads of fully double flowers of creamy white held along stems clad with bold, jaggedly lobed leaves. Excellent autumn color. Even though this species is recommended for shade in summer-warm regions, it should be grown in full sun in the Pacific Northwest for best performance.
