Athyrium filix-femina 'Frizelliae'

Description

First appearing in the Irish garden of Mrs. Frizell in 1857, this popular fern sports narrow fronds frilled along both sides and fascinating green, button-like projections. While some ferns send up most of their leaves in early spring, these continue to delight with fresh green crosiers until late summer. For shade in cool, moist soil.
