Description
A durable species with leathery, glossy green foliage that makes a strong showing among the more delicate deciduous woodland ferns. Ladder shaped fronds form a basal rosette from which the newest fronds shoot straight up, forming a central vertical grouping. Tolerant of dry soil, it does nicely tucked into crevices, around fallen logs and in settings offering a bit of shade and a little moisture.
