Description

As the heat of the summer day subsides, the remarkable chocolate scent of these dark maroon-black blooms intensifies. Beyond such novelty, the plants, after establishing themselves, form an upright mound of ferny foliage progressively covered with more and more blooms as the season progresses. Left in a bright sunny spot with adequate drainage, the clumps will continue to grow back a bit larger and even more spectacularly.
