Welcome
(Log In)
This "tree" Dahlia is a vigorous and seldom encountered species that we have become quite fond of here, not only for its extreme proportions (8-12 ft.) but for its propensity to blossom early (beginning in late August here) and profusely, unlike other tree Dahlias. The single lavender blossoms are in lovely complement to the light purplish foliage; a trait that is retained for us in the Pacific Northwest during the entire summer. This must be protected from slugs when emerging in early spring.
Ships in a 4 inch container. Approx. 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 3 7/8" (25.8 cu. In. soil volume).
