Blooming a bit later in spring than other epimediums, its pure white, short-spurred little flowers rise daintily just above a low mound of foliage. This is an all around tidy epimedium, not overwhelming to small bulbs and adjacent perennials, but with a durable constitution nonetheless. Like other members of this genus it will slowly but surely grow in the dry, shady places where most other plants would quickly wither away.
