Description

This was recently re-identified in our garden by Timothy Walker of the Oxford Botanic Garden and holder of the National Collection of Euphorbia. E. stygiana is similar in appearance to E. mellifera, under which name we have offered this in the past, but differs in its much greater hardiness. Our plants demonstrated root hardiness when left outside during the 1998-99 winter (12oF), while emerging to blossom by mid-summer with large heads of honey scented, bronzy gold flowers held above handsome blue green foliage. Ideal if used as a container plant in colder climates.

Ships in a 4 inch container. Approx. 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 3 7/8" (25.8 cu. In. soil volume).
