Description

One of the finest hardy vines for shaded sites, this elegant yet durable hydrangea produces a dense covering of glossy green foliage and, in midsummer, large 10 inch heads of lacy white flowers. The peeling, cinnamon-toned bark provides great interest in the off season. We collected seeds of this excellent hydrangea plant from the northern tier of their range in Hokkaido, Japan. Our hydrangea plants are propagated from these original plants.
