Description
A hardy, deciduous vine that blossoms dependably in deep shade. One of the best of the hardy vines for shaded sites in the garden, this elegant yet durable Hydrangea will self-cling to trees, fences, stumps or arbors, carrying glossy green foliage along it stems and studded with large lacy white flowers in mid-summer. These plants represent my collections from the northern tier of its range, in Hokkaido, Japan in 2001.
