Hydrangea macrophylla 'Lemon Zest' (H)

Description

This is a lovely golden-foliaged hydrangea that is quite popular in Japan, providing quite a glow in the garden throughout the spring and summer. We have found this hydrangea to be a much better plant than the very weak, gold-emargined cultivar that has gone about the U.S. in years past. This will burn if planted in too much sun; provide at least afternoon shade and moist but well-drained, organically-enriched soil.
