This fine woodland perennial offers up a sensory feast in early spring, as the 10" stems cloak themselves in rapturously fragrant lavender-blue to pale violet flowers. This Piet Oudolf selection deserves much wider use. If planted with Luzula nivea, the intoxication lasts for weeks on end.
