Description

A great species from the mountains of north-central Mexico, producing dense, rotund mounds of deep green foliage to 15 ft., with a hint of blue green, and arils of red. Rosa Findley, the late Logan Calhoun and I collected this from a remarkable area east of JameÆ. Partial shade, any soil.
