Description
Collected from Mount Omei, where it often grows wild under rocky, moist overhangs, and lovingly propagated for your gardens. Attractive deep green leaves stay neat through winter, but without much bronzy casts found in other Bergenias. Plants are small, with leathery leaves only up to a foot long. A charming little plant for shaded rock gardens - the delicate white blossoms, clasped by pinkish calyces, will seem to peep out of flat, glossy rosettes.
