Description

As pretty as the flowers, in classic forsythia yellow are, it is the sensational foliage that steals the show. Once the early spring flowers have closed up shop, the whitish-veined leaves on the upright 6' shrub provide multiple seasons of interest, especially on new growth. In early summer, cut the plant back, and the foliage show continues into early autumn. Hardy, easy to grow, it's endearingly deer-resistant. Thrives in well-drained soil in full sun to part shade.
