A miraculous result of Thierry and Sandrine Delabroye's breeding program in France, coleus-like stained glass foliage color is now available in hardy perennial form. Bold leaves emerge chartreuse and spotted with shades of red wine, gradually aging to a deep red except along the margins, which retain a contrasting greenish-gold tone. Pale flower spikes stand above the foliage in summer. Its villosa heritage is evident in its tolerance of summer heat and humidity. Provide average, well-drained soil conditions.
