Description
The pretty ruffled, upturned petals of burgundy-rose crepe contrast with that classic poppy "black eye". They bloom not just once in late spring, but return for a second show in September. Even the foliage remains fresh into the summer, not something most poppies can brag about. Like most poppies, deer and rabbits avoid it. Grows rather well in average, well-drained even dry soils.
