Description

Thanks to a visiting California gardener, we now see goldenrod in a new light. Goldenrod, she said, is prized by West Coast plant collectors for its luminous yellow flowers and finely textured green foliage. This new dwarf plant is covered with masses of puffy lemon-yellow daisylike blooms from late summer into fall. Attractive to bees and butterflies, it is inhospitable to deer and rabbits. Adds a colorful flourish to cut flower arrangements. Thrives in full sun, average to moist soil.
