Tsuga canadensis 'Frostie'

Description

An excellent brightener for the shaded garden, 'Frosty' is graceful with its thinly-branched open form illuminated at each tip with new growth that's nearly pure white. In winter, the white tips turn pinkish. Makes quite a tasteful accent that does not jar the senses. Works best in partial shade and moist but well-drained soil.
