Hydrangea 'Preziosa'

Description

Now considered a hybrid between Hydrangea serrata and Hydrangea macrophylla, 'Preziosa' produces dark purplish stems and rose-pink sterile florets deepening to -- or spotted with -- ruby red in autumn. Truly among the most popular hydrangeas in our garden and has become well regarded across North America. Can't quite make up its mind and sometimes acts as both a mophead hydrangea and lacecap hydrangea, so you might just get a two-fer.
