Description
An exquisite native for the woodland garden. In spring, delicate white flowers are framed by soft, bluish-green ferny foliage. Fruits are unusual, the white 'Doll's Eye' berries, each marked by a black dot. These persist for 4-6 weeks in autumn, atop bright red pedicels. Plants thrive in rich, moist soils in light to part shade. A word of caution: Berries are poisonous when eaten.
