Baptisia 'Twilight Prairie Blues'

Description

This fresh take on Baptisia dazzles with its lupine-like bicolored, upright spikes of coppery-purple flowers, highlighted by a lemon-yellow keel. Combines beautifully with Echinaceas 'Meringue' and 'Harvest Moon'. Created by Dr. Jim Ault at the Chicago Botanic Garden by crossing two hardy prairie species. This heat-tolerant native is easy to please in sun and any well-drained soil.
