A sensational evergreen fern with upright, gleaming glossy fronds of deep polished green, prominently veined, to 2 ft., handsomely centered by a rachis of golden yellow. Indispensable in the shaded border with Filipendula ulmaria 'Aurea', Omphalodes cappadocica 'Cherry Ingram' and Beesia deltophylla, in shade to partial shade in humus-rich soil.
