Description
A Germanic cultivar of the Italian Aster- this low-growing, clumping species offers substantive 2 inch flowers of periwinkle blue with a yellow eye. Seldom encountered in American horticulture and deserving of wider use, for front to mid-border positions in full sun. It particularly thrives in alkaline soil.
