Cyclamen coum

Description

These hardy cyclamen relatives of the florist's cyclamen produce charming 2-inch flowers in a spectrum of colors ranging from white to carmine red that carpet the ground in winter to early spring, depending on the climate. The handsome, rounded leaves, marbled in shades of silver, make a lustrous groundcover through the winter and spring (going dormant, they take the summer off).
