Description

A distinctive and we believe vastly overlooked everpresent perennial and groundcover from this little known genus of Disporum relatives, differing by possessing axillary flowers as well as a rhizomatous habit of growth. This species forms lovely and low colonies of nodding stems to 6" clad with glistening green foliage throughout the year, and creamy white drooping flowers produced in mid- to late spring. It is this species that incorrectly makes the rounds in this country under the name of D. fusca-picta, a much taller species that we collected in Sichuan Province in 1996. For woodland conditions in humus-rich soil.

Ships in a 4 inch container. Approx. 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 3 7/8" (25.8 cu. In. soil volume).
