Description
A well-named cultivar, its metallic blue thimble-like flowers arising from star-like collars of silvery bracts the latter part of summer. With bluish-green stems and foliage, the entire plant offers quite a contrast in the landscape both in color and form. Makes a long-lasting cut flower, either fresh or dried. Long-lasting in the sunny garden, too, tolerating poor soils, drought, even salt. Once established, though, it cannot easily be transplanted.
