Euphorbia 'Jessie'

Description

Fiery color lights up this Euphorbia, summer into fall. The erect succulent stems, light green in spring, in midsummer become topped with flaming bracts of brilliant yellow that are distinctly edged orange-red in midsummer. The foliage turns a blend of yellow, green, orange and red. Barry Glick crossed tender E. griffithii 'Fireglow' with E. polychroma to create this sterile hybrid that doesn't self-sow. Extremely deer-resistant and easy to grow in average, well-drained soils.
