From the wilds of the former Yugoslavia, this is a delicious derivation of the species, to 15"""", with strong, black-purple zoning on each leaf, in perfect complement to the dark burgundy reflexed flowers. Perhaps tighter in form if grown in full sun or very bright shade, we shear this back hard after initial flowering to promote a fresh flush of handsome foliage. We are finally able to keep up with the demand for this truly magnificent plant.
