The new Heucheras have aided our quest, as gardeners, for the perfect groundcovers. It is not so much their foliage but their tolerance of a wide diversity of habit that have made Heucheras so valuable. We have used them successfully in our garden in dense shade with moist soil, as well as in full sun in moderately dry, well-drained locations. The performance of Heuchera is admirable providing year-round, weed smothering foliage and a stunning foil to nearby companions.
