"The large, frilly white overlapping petals are picotee-edged in hot pinkish-red. For some this Oriental Poppy evokes the Moulin Rouge dancing girls of Paris for which this is named. One of the best, its gleaming blooms are borne on numerous strong, stout stems that withstand storms. These make exceptionally long-lasting cut flowers. A long-lived perennial, grown easily in any soil that is well-drained. "
