Description
A very good foliage plant that has a dubious entry into cultivation (James Compton does not recall encountering this plant), it none-the-less is quite spectacular, offering clumps, not running, of 3 ft. stems clad with deep green leaves chevroned in silver and deep purple. Though this indeed does blossom, the flowers are insignificant in comparison to the extraordinary folial effects; planted in a somewhat sheltered location under our specimen of Rosa æEddieÆs JewelÆ. Exquisite.
