Description
In trying to dissect the taxonomy of these mystical woodland plants, we have become quite stuck on this one. We originally received it under the name of P. versipelle and feel confident that it is not. The flowers are borne halfway between the juncture of the petioles and the largest of the two leaves, while the stems themselves rise to nearly 3 1/2 feet in height, carrying immense, glossy, angular leaves to 18 inches across. A unique and rare hybrid with extreme vigor and astounding presence throughout the summer and late into autumn.
