Description
We observed enormous clumps of this rare and extraordinary species along high mountain streams in Northeast Turkey in the autumn of 2000. We were ecstatic to discover that it grew just as luxuriously in North America. Luxuriant mounds of fuzzy, bright green foliage emerge from the ground, followed quickly by panicles of lavender purple and white blossoms resembling bursting alliums.
