Description
It has taken us a serious amount of time to finally offer this, having admired it in our woodland for numerous years. Though it is vastly underknown, it offers lusty mounds of rounded, dissected foliage to 15รถ while the white, Thalictrum-like flowers rise above on stems to 4.5 ft. Best in shaded sites in relatively moist soil, it is interesting to note that this species is native to both coasts, having seen it in blossom, adjacent to the rare Cimicifuga laciniata, at the base of Mt. Hood in Oregon.
