Tropaeolum speciosum

Description

An English gardener's favorite, further elevated in status when awarded the prestigious Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society. A rich explosion of flame-coral to red flowers appear in late summer and continue incessantly through autumn. Ideal for training through an established hedge, or to allow to ramble upon arbor or large trellis. Thrives in cool soils where the stems reach skyward; not so happy in hot, humid summers.
