Description

Each compact clump of this classic "see-through" grass produces an erect mound of leaves standing 24-36 inches tall. Come midsummer, enjoy the spectacle as long, slender brownish-purple spikes shoot upright or arch to 8 feet wondrous when backlit by the sun of early morning or late afternoon. In fall, the entire plant turns rich golden-yellow.
