Clematis ' Crystal Fountains'

Description

Fountain-like buttons burst from the center of huge 4-5 inch lilac blue flowers. The display begins in early summer and runs right through fall. Classified as a 'rebloomer', the flowers offer encore after encore, so there's no rest period between the waves of bloom. Like most Clematis, it prefers its roots to be cool, its tops warm. Be sure to keep soil evenly moist and top-dressed with a generous blanket of mulch.
