Description
I collected cuttings of this extraordinary evergreen creeping shrub while above the Wolong Nature Preserve in 1996, which successfully rooted upon arrival home. The dark black-green and narrow foliage of this specimen, to 3รถ, was etched along the central and side veins in brilliant white. It has already created a superb groundcover in relatively deep shade in our woodland, and I look forward to many years of its enlightening quality and conjured memories of the day I first touched a Giant Panda. This combines effectively in our woodland with pewter-foliaged forms of Cyclamen hederifolium. As with many Euonymus, this will go through a midlife crisis and begin to climb upon walls and tree trunks with age. We will not ship this east of the Mississippi due to potential invasiveness.
