Description
Maple-like leaves emerge in spring a striking bright yellow and retain a strong coloration throughout the summer if grown in full sun. White flowers in late spring result in large crops of bright red fruit, in perfect complement to the foliage. We use this as a dependable and strong component of our mixed perennial borders, where it supports a blue Clematis in late summer. This will be most colorful in full sun situations while fading to lime green in partially shaded sites, in any soil that properly drains.
