Description
Passed about horticultural circles for many years as ôAfghanistanö is this charming species, with a haze of greenish yellow flowers held above dense mounds of striking, steely blue leaves, to 18ö. It is among those plants greatly cherished here for their strong, folial presence from early spring through autumn, used to good effect, we think, at the base of Abies koreana æAureaÆ in our blue border.
