Acer griseum

Description

The leaves of this handsome maple slowly turn a brilliant burnt orange-red fall color that persists into winter. The species' most truly magnificent show is the curling, cinnamon-colored bark. Birds love it, flocking to the trunks and perching themselves precariously on the peeled back bark. Offers year-round color and textural interest.
