The name ‘Magnolia’ commemorates French botanist Pierre Magnol, to whom we give a grateful bow. Of the 80 or so known species of Magnolia plants, most are native to the temperate regions of North America and eastern Asia. Our rare Magnolia plants favor magnificent floral display, impressive leaf size and sweet perfume. Growing Magnolia is carefree in full to part sun and humus-rich soil.
